Housemartin guest lodge

At the Southern entrance to the magnificent Meiringspoort lies the scenic village of De Rust., where Bill and Christina, avid ‘birders” and owners of Housemartin Guest Lodge will welcome you. In the garden of the 110 year old Victorian manor house are twelve en-suite luxury guest rooms; each with there own verandah leading onto the gardens, orchard and sparkling pool. In the rooms you will find port, muscadel, homemade biscuits and rusks. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and magazines. The atmosphere lures the guests into gentle relaxation after a day exploring the walking and biking trails in the area. Birding, cycling, wine tasting on the local estates.
